Handcrafted in Ukraine with a wooden base and 5 wooden dinosaurs made of lovingly selected different natural wood (e.g oak, locust, honey locust, beech, smoke tree and mulberry). Each piece is sanded down for a smooth finish and coated with edible linseed oil and beeswax for durability.
WAYS TO PLAY:
- Animal Play - Play with the pieces individually for dinosaur small-world play. Learn the names of different dinosaurs and introduce new words and concepts. Small worlds are also the ideal platform for nurturing children's imagination from a young age.
- Puzzle - Develop shape recognition and problem-solving skills. Puzzles are also a great avenue to encourage patience, persistence and concentration.
- Matching Activity - Match the wooden animals with some dinosaur figurines or pictures! Matching is a precursor to learning how to classify items and to identify relationships between them. Learning to match shapes and patterns also helps children to later learn to recognise letters and words.
